New article in Nano Letters
Our article "Coupling molecular spin qubits with 2D magnets for coherent magnon manipulation" has just been published in Nanoletters!
In this theoretical work, led by the team of J. J. Baldoví at Institute of Molecular Physics at University of Valencia, we model molecular qubits deposited on a 2D material sustaining exchange-dominated magnons. These single-electron qubits are optically addressable and couple to magnons via exchange interaction, which is orders of magnitude larger than the magnetic dipole coupling present in conventional qubit-magnon plarforms. This makes this platform promising for quantum magnonics. We theoretically predict the possibility of generating propagating single magnon wavepackets in these systems by qubit spontaneous decay.
